Each year the
Houlton Pioneer Times works together with local schools and businesses and
creates an opportunity for the school children to participate in a program
called Newspapers In Education. The program allows students to work on various
projects and design advertising while learning about journalism and the news
business. Since 2007 the PC-EMT LLC has participated in the Newspapers In
Education event. Below are two examples of advertising artwork from the talented
students at the Katahdin Elementary School. Our special thanks go out to all of
those who helped create these one of a kind advertisements for our company.

I dedicate this
page to my daughter Cathleen who unknowingly taught me that there is more to
being a father than mowing the lawn and paying the mortgage. It is the greatest
